$65 for a half-day (6 hours, AM or PM, available Sunday through Friday only — no half-day rentals on Saturdays), $99 per day, or $550 per week. Plus Utah sales tax (7.45%). A $150 refundable hold is placed on your card at booking — not a charge — and released after the trailer is returned undamaged. No delivery fees, no fuel surcharges, no surprises.
This is a self-haul rental. You pick up the trailer at our Salt Lake City location and return it when your job is done. The pickup address is provided when you book. Self-haul is why our rates are significantly lower than drop-off dumpster services.
You need a truck or heavy-duty SUV rated to tow at least 14,000 lbs, and a 2 5/16-inch ball hitch. Most 3/4-ton and 1-ton pickup trucks (F-250, Ram 2500, Silverado 2500 and up) qualify. If you are unsure whether your vehicle can handle the load, call us before booking.
7 feet wide by 14 feet long, with 4-foot sides, a hydraulic dump bed, and barn doors in the rear. Holds approximately 14 cubic yards. GVWR is 14,000 lbs with roughly 10,000 lbs of usable payload. Big enough for a full roofing tear-off, landscaping haul, or major cleanout in one trip.
Hazardous materials are prohibited. This includes paint, chemicals, asbestos, motor oil, batteries, propane tanks, and anything classified as hazardous waste by Salt Lake County. Standard construction debris, dirt, landscaping material, and household junk are all fine. When in doubt, ask before you book.

A $150 refundable hold is placed on your card at booking. It is not a charge — your money stays in your account. The hold drops off after the trailer is returned undamaged: instantly on credit cards, 3–5 business days on debit. Damage is captured from the hold; otherwise nothing is taken.
Monday through Friday: 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sunday: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Weekend pickups need at least 24 hours notice.
No CDL is required. As long as your personal vehicle is rated for the load and you have the correct hitch ball, you can legally tow a dump trailer with a standard driver license in Nevada. You do NOT need a commercial driver license for personal use under 26,001 lbs GVWR.
A dumpster gets dropped at your site and picked up later. You pay for the delivery, pickup, and sitting time. A dump trailer is self-haul: you pick it up, load it at your own pace, drive to the disposal site (such as the Republic Services transfer station on Losee Road in North Salt Lake City), dump it, and return the trailer. You get full control of the timeline, no waiting on a truck, and a lower total cost because there is no delivery markup.
